I'm sitting in the Voyager office, listening to Nine in the Afternoon and Medicine Man on repeat to drown out the sound of our sports editor arguing with one of the sports writers about how America is "going to get raped" when playing overseas.

OMG AHAHAHAH.

The copy editing is for a grade, as a directed study, so it's not exactly a job. And honestly? By the end of the night I wasn't nearly as frustrated. I think it'll be okay once I get the swing of things. And the staff are all hilarious, so that's a plus. :D

So I'm copy editing for the Voyager now. And this is one of the first stories I worked on. Pretty much everything was rewritten by me, with the exception of the last two sentences. I reworked the rest of the story to match the tone of those two. It's kind of hysterical.
